There are no words for "I'm sorry". Nothing that can show you How truly repentant I am. There is no touch for my remorse, No tears for my supplication. There isn't a way for me to move That can let you feel how broken I am. I can't make you see the memories Through my hateful, Bitter eyes. There is no song for "The Girl Who Hated Mirrors". They told me to look at the big picture, but don't they know that it takes years to walk that far? In seventy more or so, I might be able to stare in fascination, take in every color and texture, realize the grand meaning of all things at last. I would look down at my hands wonder how they did it all, touch every callous and know what I gave and what it took— because there is a difference. My eyes are too close to the canvas, the tip of my nose in the paint And this shade of purple looks more like a bruise, or is that a mirror I'm looking into? Playing shows!

My band is playing shows now (kind of... I'm playing shows and I'm draggin my bandmates along!) And I need some help/inspiration for fliers. Because nobody will click and see how seriously ruined I am if I don't draw attention to it. But maybe someone will look, and feel sorry for my sadness. It's worst at night, when I've stayed up too late. When everyone who could possibly help me is asleep. Then I fall back on my old ways. And I start thinking - bad news bears.
